The prickly one or the steady one
You have one vacancy and two very good people. Interviews on Monday and Wednesday give you a brilliant, prickly one who would change the team and a warm, steady one who would hold it together. Both references are sound. On Thursday afternoon the Moon moves into your sign and everyone will want your view. Write down what the team needs next year, not what you would most enjoy at lunch. Choose on Friday, make the call yourself, and stop replaying it on Saturday.
Love
A friend asks on Tuesday what you honestly think of their new partner, and you have two answers ready, the kind one and the true one. Try joining them. Say what you like, then the one thing that gives you pause, and leave it there. If they bristle, you have still told them more than a charming shrug would have.
Work and money
Someone will lobby you this week, perhaps the manager who prefers the steady candidate and has mentioned it twice by the coffee machine. Score both against the same five points, in writing, before Thursday. Then ring the one you did not choose on Friday, with a real reason they can use. How you say no will follow you around your industry for years.
Body and mind
Deciding is tiring work, and you may find yourself unable to choose a sandwich by Wednesday. Wear the same thing two days running and order the first item on the menu. A walk with a friend who talks about anything else will clear your head. Spend Sunday rearranging the pictures in one room, purely because you like them better.
Thursday, for writing down what the team needs next year
