One more winter for the coat
Old things look better in today’s light. Venus, your ruler, is retrograde in your sign, and the coat, the friend, the habit you nearly replaced may deserve one more season. Some of them, not all.
Love
In a group this afternoon, a friend’s birthday drinks or the family gathered for tea, someone may make a remark with an edge on it, and you will feel the urge to smooth it over. Let it sit for one breath. Not every awkward pause needs you to rescue it, and the person it was aimed at may prefer to answer for themselves.
Work and money
The good wool coat you have worn for six winters may have a torn lining and a missing button, and a new one may be sitting in your online basket. Both are real choices. Mending costs less and keeps a coat you know suits you; new feels lovely for a month. Decide by bedtime, and empty the basket either way.
Body and mind
Pick a gallery or museum near you, the free collection, and spend an hour on just three paintings, properly, from a bench. One of them may stop you in your tracks. Beauty settles you faster than argument does, and on a grey Sunday you can borrow some for nothing.
Mend the coat or buy the new one, but decide tonight
